Named after the mythical island at the heart of the legend of King Arthur, The Avalon is a majestic public house and garden located in Clapham South.

Embracing our iconic English heritage, we are passionate about showcasing our country’s finest produce in the most beautiful of surroundings.

Our elegant dining room is perfect for leisurely lunches or sumptuous suppers, our busy bar comes alive in the evening, guaranteeing a great night out, whilst the Blue Room upstairs is magnificent for private parties. On a sunny day, there really isn’t anywhere better to be than one of our three fabulous gardens, voted London’s best by Time Out magazine.

We are proud to work with some of the best small producers the British Isles has to offer. Our Sunday roasts are free-range, our fish is responsibly sourced and our vegan and vegetarian dishes could convince the staunchest of carnivores. We also showcase the finest wines, craft beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
