Junsei is the debut restaurant of Chef Aman Lakhiani, who has been enamored by the art of cooking since he was just a young boy. He found pure unbridled joy in his family kitchen, experimenting with various techniques and ingredients.

A childhood pastime then became a lifelong passion. After spending time cooking in various kitchens across the world, he brought Junsei to London.

The origin of Junsei and our crane logo is inspired by Origami, a century-old Japanese recreational art that brings hope and healing. True to its name, Junsei offers genuine Yakitori to London.

Every part of the chicken is delicately prepared and skewered in over 20 different variations; creating a zero-waste concept. Junsei strives to create a sensational experience, offering you skewers and dishes delicately prepared over binchotan charcoal and rice donabes cooked fresh in dashi broth.
